Smart Thank You Card Tip From Peru
Super organised Kate & Eben have put their downtime in South America to excellent use!

Smart cookies Kate & Eben (our very first Diary of a Bride couple) took a nice & chunky honeymoon break to South America. But being such sweethearts they didn’t just pack their bags with trekking boots and head for the Andes in Peru. The forwarding thinking pair must have also thrown in a box or two of specially designed thank you cards for all the guests that attended their December wedding in Jervis Bay.
How do we know this? The Knot received a thank you card from the couple today in the office! Keeping to their cheeky style the card reads ‘He swept her off her feet’…’But she wasn’t badly injured’. Betting Eben had a hand in coming up with these.
Certainly very good multi-tasking tip though. As any Australian knows jetting off to most destinations means hours on board a plane and a little job like writing out a hundred thank you cards would certainly make the time fly more quickly (though unfortunately it won’t speed up the plane). Plus there is the bonus that you can post them from the exotic destination, the stamp with an illustration of what must be an native snail of Peru adorns the envelope Kate & Eben sent.
So take note all Knotties – the honeymoon is for relaxing and romance but you can get a few of your final wedding to-do boxes ticked along the way as well.
