Kate Bosworth Drops the ‘F’ Word to Publicly Announce Engagement

For actress Kate Bosworth, 29, and her real-life leading man, film director Michael Polish, 41, there was no formal announcement of their recent engagement. Let alone a grand declaration at an awards ceremony. Instead the gorgeous Bosworth casually referred to Polish as her fiancé when writing a ‘Travel Diary’ blog for the US Vogue website.

Bosworth, who explained via the captions on the published images, that the pair had ventured to South Korea “to celebrate the ‘Infinite Loop,’ a collaboration with one of New York’s most respected institutions, the New Museum.” But what has the world buzzing was when she wrote on another shot that “On our first day in Seoul, my fiancé, Michael Polish, and I venture out to discover Changdeokgung Palace.” Breaking news of their engagement to all and sundry.

The pair had met on the set of the film ‘Big Sur’ which the dashing Polish, who has a twin brother, was director and Bosworth stars in. You can tell the two are truly, madly, deeply – every time a camera snaps a shot of them they are either staring intently into one another’s eyes or laughing like giddy teenagers.

Below are some other images Kate Bosworth supplied to Vogue for the ‘Summer Travel Diary’ blog. She is wearing Calvin Klein in each shot, as she was a guest of the designer for that trip. We’ll keep you posted as to if she plans to wear a Calvin Klein gown down the aisle too, but we are sure some of the accessories will be JewelMint, a jewellery line she designed and launched in 2010 with friend and celebrity stylist, Cher Coulter.
