Bridal Hair & Make up: Trial # 1
So my wedding planning is travelling along well, and I’m coming up to my first makeup and hair trial, and I’m pretty excited to start planning what my hair and makeup will look like on the day.
Now before I can begin my makeup and hair journey my lovely makeup artist and hairdresser have requested ideas of what I want to look like on the day, now this sounds easy enough, though if you’re a makeup and hair novice or a born again novice like myself the task can be endless.
When I was a teenager I was all about the latest hair style and I loved makeup, though as I’ve got older I don’t have as much time to keep up with the trends, my morning routine consists of waking up grabbing the essential clothing, popping on my trusty moisturiser and whipping my hair up into a bun and I’m done.
So you can imagine that my ideas on makeup and hair are limited, though Thank God! for celebrities and the wonderful events they attend. As usual I went straight to Google for my inspiration (yes I am slightly obsessed with this function of the internet), though type in phrases such as ‘Oscar Makeup 2012’ or ‘MTV movie awards makeup 2012’ click images and what pops up, are all the celebrities that attended the event front and center, giving us easy access to the latest makeup trends.

Now since I am a born again novice at all things makeup and hair, I want to show people something different and from what I have seen the trends for makeup in general is heading towards bright coloured lips, pink cheeks and hair that looks like it happened all by chance and more brides seem to be following suite.

With my ideas ready to go, let’s hope my trial goes off without a hitch and that the end product is beautiful.
