Butter by Nadia gowns have taken the world by storm, and are proving to be a favourite among Australian bridesmaids thanks to their versatility to suit different body shapes. We chat to Talia Sasson from Sydney store Bridesmaids Only to learn more about this fabulous brand.
Q. How did you find out about Butter by Nadia and what do you love about the brand?
A. I love researching what is popular overseas and spend a lot of time on fashion forums, and everyone was raving about Butter by Nadia. Apart from the amazing design, the fabric is incredibly comfortable- it skims, not clings, to your figure and emphasises everyone’s best assets.
Q. How are Australian brides and bridesmaids responding to the brand?
A. At first they’re a bit hesitant to try it on as they all think the fabric is a bit unforgiving, but once they try it on they fall in love! They love that it is one size fits all- no measuring or alterations needed (perfect when shopping for bridesmaids not in town). They also love the fact that each of their bridesmaids can wear the same colour, but wear it in different way depending on what style suits them.
Q. Are bridesmaids taking advantage of the versatility of the dress, or do they tend to keep the styles the same?
A. The majority of the time bridesmaids will wear the dress in different styles depending on what suits them. It is also common for all the bridesmaids to wear it the same for the ceremony, and then change it up for the reception!
Q. What is the most popular way to wear Butter by Nadia dresses? And what’s your favourite?
A. The kimono style is the most popular because its the most modest style, and the strapless is also very popular. My favourite is the one-shoulder wrap!

Does anyone know if there is a stockist in Perth for this dress? I have 3 completely different shaped BM’s and this would be perfect for them.
